ASQ: SE-2 Ages and Stages Social Emotional Questionnaire, Second Edition

The Ages and Stages Social Emotional Questionnaire, Second Edition (ASQ-SE), is vital for understanding and supporting your child’s social-emotional health from birth to age 6. These screenings help identify your child's strengths and areas where they may need additional support in social and emotional development. By ensuring your child receives these screenings early and often, you are taking a proactive step in supporting their overall well-being.

Why use ASQ: SE-2?
  • Spot concerns early. Identify social-emotional needs while they’re easiest to support.
  • Focused on feelings & behavior. Looks at calming, sleeping, eating, playing, and getting along with others.
  • Parent-led. You know your child best; the tool is simple and mobile-friendly.
  • Track progress. Repeat at key ages to watch growth over time.

What happens after you submit:

A navigator reviews your results, explains what they mean, and, if needed, helps with the next steps (activities, re-screening, or referrals you choose).

Privacy note:

We keep your information private and only use it to connect you with services you select.
