About CCYCF
The Coös Coalition for Young Children and Families works to promote optimal cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development for children birth–8 in the Coös region. Your stories help us understand what’s working, where there are gaps, and how we can better support families and the systems that serve them.
Why Your Story Matters
How We May Use Your Story
Stories help us see beyond numbers and charts. They show what families are really experiencing, when hope shows up, and where small changes make a big difference.
We use stories to:
  • Lift up family and provider voice in our planning and decision-making
  • Highlight real experiences behind Raising Strong Families, Early Childhood Connections, behavioral health work, and family leadership
  • Inform funders and policymakers about what Coös children and families truly need
  • Inspire partners across the region to try new approaches and collaborate in new ways
Who We Are Inviting To Share
We welcome stories from anyone connected to children birth–8 in Coös County, including:
  • Parents and caregivers
  • Grandparents and other relatives
  • Early childhood and school staff (child care, Head Start, PreK–grade 3, special education, afterschool, home visiting, etc.)
  • Family Leaders and community partners
  • Health, behavioral health, and social service providers
If you’re wondering, “Does my story count?”—it does.
We want to honor your experience and use it in ways that support better systems for kids and families. With your permission, your story may be:
  • Shared (with or without your name) in Coalition newsletters and on our website
  • Highlighted in presentations, convenings, and trainings to ground partners in real family experiences
  • Included (in summary form) in reports and grant applications to help bring more resources into Coös County
  • Used internally to guide program improvements and future planning
You’ll tell us how we can share your story in the form below. We will always follow your preferences.
